Blair Atholl

Fishing and shooting
Permits for local salmon and trout fishing alongside world-class shooting and stalking on the neighbouring Kinnaird and Grandtully estates can be arranged. Please let us know on booking or arrival so we can make arrangements for you.

Our most local, characteristically scenic, golf courses are: Strathtay, Mains of Taymouth (Kenmore), Aberfeldy and Pitlochry.
Walking
A gentle stroll on a forest trail, a Munro or two or anything in between. There are an abundance of walks to suit all levels from Ballintaggart Farm and the surrounding areas. The Forestry Commission website gives comprehensive details of forest trails and our postcards tell you about some of the best local spots. Ballintaggart Farm is also an easy journey to many munros and corbetts - Schiehallion, Ben Lawers, Ben Vrakie and many other hills. Let your adventures start here.
Cycling
To make it easy for you to explore, two trek bikes are permanently available for guests to hire and use during their stay. Each bike costs just £25/day and includes a helmet, cycling rucksack, spares and maps. Available on a first come, first served basis. Access to the Loch to Glens (North) route 7 of The National Cycle Network is found at bottom of our track. If you'd like to explore off road with the help of a brilliant guide, this can also be arranged.
